    vhf antenna 19 dbd

this antena used for lower part of 2m band
    144 mhz
used for earth-moon-earth EME since it consest of rope boom so it may be good for desert trips or people living in farms

    this is the pictures

    thanks

yes it is too much 19dbd but this number from the site i gave you the link

as i menshoned it is ment for EME for the smallest and cheapst way

to do the EME one station must be so strong and equiped with 4 beams staked with the capaplty of changing the angel

the other station will beam to moon on the time of riseing and the time of moon set
they claim that they will have moore gain due to horizentaling with earth

this antena is 43 element with lenth of over 30 meter
the rope must be special rope to avoid the expantion of lenth in case too much tighten
also it must be UV resestanc so the sun will not damage the rope

there is one thing important that the driven element will be close to the radio so shorter cable will mean less loss on the transmition line

by the way there is new mode now used EME specialy on 6m band

it called wsjt come from week signal --- jt is the last letters frrom the call sign of the programer
it seems very intresting and i had down load the soft ware but will need some time to understandit

last year we had tested many digetal modes like SSTV ,RTTY,PSK on the
2m band FM and it workes fine

and i personaly like to intrduce it to local vhf user as i think it may sort us some high class vhf users which realy may be the real hams.

for wsjt and EME look here

    ZD8DB:
    Dear OMs:

I learned from other 6m enthusiasts that you are active on 6m. I still
need your country for 6m DXCC, and perhaps I can help you work a new state
    (Wisconsin) or grid locator (EN53qc).

I wonder if you are QRV on 6m using the new JT44 mode. Recently, I have
worked single yagi stations on their moonset using JT44! How it works is I
use my 6m array to point at the moon when it is
high in the sky, however I calculate the time so the moon is at your horizon
(you then need only azimuth rotator, not elevation rotator). You aim your
antenna directly at the moon as it crosses the horizon (moonset) or
moonrise, and QSOs can be made on 6m using this JT44 mode via moonbounce
    (EME).

I would very much like to try a sked with you, if possible!

On my end, I use 4 x 6M9KHW array (4 x 50' boom yagis) with full azimuth and
elevation rotation and 1.5kW Tx power.. plus the GaASFET receive
    pre-amplifier for receive.

More information is available about what is JT44: please see:
http://www.qsl.net/w3sz/JT44.htm and at the bottom of the page is a link to
    the
free software for WSJT (JT44). WSJT means Weak Signal by K1JT software.
Then after that, you will need some sort of
Windows PC with Soundcard to do the digital signal processing.. and two (one
for Tx, and one for Rx) cables. For the Tx interface, I use the RigBlaster
    Plus: http://www.westmountainradio.com/pdf/CQrigblast.pdf
which is available from WestMountain Radio.. or you can build your own
Xcvr-to-PC cable interface instead. Depending what kind of radio you have,
you can build your cables and save some money,
but I chose to buy the RigBlaster Plus interface because it is easy and fast
    to hook-up.

Then for a receive pre-amp, I am using the SSB Electronic SP-6.. However I
use it between the transceiver and amplifier because it does not handle
enough Tx power to put on output
of the amplifier. And I also use a Tx sequencer by Down East Microwave (T/R
Sequencer) to delay the amplifier slightly behind the GaASFET disable on
receive (just like on 2m EME). I can share a diagram how to hook this up if
    that is helpful to you.

Please let me know is this information helpful to you? For 6m EME, we will
    need the JT44 which gives
up to 10dB advantage over conventional CW and sigs can be copied by the JT44
to make a QSO under very weak (EME) conditions.

Please let me know what other questions you have? thank you and very 73!

Also please check out the web page of W7GJ who has exact same 6m JT44 set up
(and same antennas, power, etc.) as I have.. he is
http://www.bigskyspaces.com/w7gj/jt44.htm . On this webpage, you will see
the photo on the above page, where ZR6DXB had perfect copy on W7GJ's JT44
signals - using only a 5 element M2 yagi!and keep in mind once you get set
up for JT44, there will be a number of new QSOs you can make including
myself KJ9I in EN53qc, Lance, W7GJ in Montana, and some others (W7ALW)
etc. So it will help you for working the stations like us that don't get
the F2 or Es on 6m.

Please let me know what other questions I can help answer. (There is also
a web page for JT44 EME users (most on 2m), but here that one is:
    http://www.chris.org/cgi-bin/jt44eme

Is there any possibility you can get set up so we can try a QSO on 6m using
    EME and JT44, dear OM?

I hope to hear from you soon and look forward to trying a 6m JT44 attempt
    with you.

Is there any possibility I can help interest you in the set-up for JT44
    please? thank you and 73.

    Dave KJ9I
