علمت من مصدر قريب من شركة قارمن أنه ...............

قريباً سوف يتم تنزيل اللغة العربيه بموقع شركة قارمن العالمية لجميع أجهزة قارمن عالية الوضوح
وسوف يتم تنزيل التعريب بفترات متفاوته حسب نوع الجهاز

علماً أن دعم اللغة العربيه عبارة عن "سوفت وير" وذلك تستطيع تنزيله من الموقع ثم تحميله على الجهاز

First of all Thank you Garmin for Adding Arabic language to the suite of languages supported by Garmin 276C and hopefully other products will follow suit soon.
Question #1 : Why is Garmin charging me as an existing customer an additional US$214.00 for adding LIMITED Arabic language support to the 276C. As a matter of fact I have been told by the local agent that I cannot upgrade my 276c to support Arabic language , I have to buy a new unit for US$800.00. This is what we are being charged here in Saudi Arabia by the local agent / dealer DarMoja

Question #2 : When is the full Arabic language support ( including waypoints ) going to be available?

Question #3 : Is this going to be available as a free operating system upgrade via the Garmin website?

I am sharing like others the same message which we requested to be dectated in english and summrizes our concers as users of Garmin products in Saudi Arabia who are very frutrated of the support of the local dealer (DARMOJA).
First of all Thank you Garmin for Adding Arabic language to the suite of languages supported by Garmin 276C and hopefully other products will follow suit soon.

وهذا لايمنع المطالبه بالاستعجال بتنزيل تحديث اللغه العربيه من الإنترنت حتى لانكون موضع إستغلال لموزعين قارمن في الشرق الأوسط .
مع العلم أنني لاحظت من بعض الأخوة الكرام أنهم يعتقدون أنه لا يوجد إلا وكيل واحد بالمملكة العربية السعودية والواقع أنه يوجد موزعين وليسوا وكلاء .

price of these units. As we the market grows in the is region we hope to
introduce more products and adjust the price accordingly.
2 ) The mapping products currently supplied by our cartography Navtec are
not yet supplied in Arabic. However they have are opening an office in the
region and we hope to have Arabic cartography within the next 18 months.
Locally Darmoja have just bought a software package from us to develop
detailed mapping for Saudi Arabia.
3 ) Currently we have no plans to provide the operating system on the web
site.

الخلاصه
التعريب محدود وتعريب الإحداثيات ( مستقبلا ) يعتمد على شركة ناف تك وربما وجب علينا مراسلة شركة ناف تك حيث أنها تصنع أنظمة الخرائط لجميع أنظمة الجي بي إس السيارة في الخليج بالاضافة إلى خرائط أجهزة جارمن

جارمن لا تعتبر السوق الخليجي سوقا مربحا حتى الان ولذلك التعريب محدود والسعر مرتفع
وربما أن ذلك هو السبب وراء بيع أجهزتهم في منطقة الخليج بخرائط أوروبا !!!

الطريف في الأمر أنني من حرر نص الرساله إلى جارمن ولكن حتى الان لم يصلني رد منهم .... ولكن الرد أعلاه يكفي
