PAIRING A PHONE WITH YOUR 2011 Yukon

Before you begin:

To take advantage of the Bluetooth for GMC functionality, you must first pair a Bluetooth-enabled phone to a Bluetooth-enabled vehicle.

Note: If you do not pair a Bluetooth-enabled phone, all calls will be made using OnStar® Hands-Free Calling.3

Some additional tips:

1. You can pair up to five phones with your 2011 Yukon.
2. Your system automatically recognizes the first phone you pair. To use a different paired phone, you must
select it using the "Change Phone" command.
3. Only one paired cell phone can be connected to your system at a time.
4. When the vehicle is in motion, you cannot pair a phone.
5. Pairing should only need to be completed once (unless changes to the pairing information have been made, or the
phone is deleted).

PAIR YOUR PHONE

Set up phone - Turn Bluetooth 'ON':

1. From the main screen, select "Menu"2. Select "Settings"3. Select "Bluetooth"4. Toggle Bluetooth to "On"

Set up vehicle - Enter 'Pairing' mode:

1. Press and hold the Push to Talk button for two seconds
2. Your system will respond with a "Ready" message followed by
a tone
3. Clearly say "Bluetooth"
4. Your system will respond with a "Bluetooth ready" message
followed by a tone
5. Clearly say "Pair"
6. Your system will respond with instructions and a four-digit
Personal Identification Number (PIN); you will need to enter
this PIN on your phone

Begin the pairing process on your phone:

1. From the main screen, select "Menu"2. Select "Settings"3. Select "Bluetooth"4. Press the right arrow key5. Select "Options"6. Select "New paired device"7. Select "Your Vehicle"8. Enter the PIN code provided by vehicle9. Select "Yes" to "authorize device to make connections automatically"

Finish the pairing process in your vehicle:

1. The system will prompt you to give a name to your phone
2. Say a name that best describes your phone (example: Corey's
phone); this name will be used to indicate which phone is
connected
3. Your system will ask you to confirm your name
4. If you confirm that name, the system will respond with the
message: "'<Phone name>' has been successfully paired"
